December Meeting

The WSB December Meeting is Saturday December 9th from 2-6pm and is hosted by Bruce and Dee at their place in Hansville. Plenty of parking and room for 30-40 people in their great room/open kitchen. They will be serving up a fish dish. The brew theme is Winter Brews. Please bring your homebrews, commercial brews and a potluck dish to share. We will also have our "Bring a Bottle-Take a Bottle Exchange" so wrap up a homebrew or commercial brew to exchange. We will also be voting for new club officers.

The homebrew club Impaling Alers invited the WSB to their meeting on Friday December 15th from 7-9:30pm in Renton. They will be having a fundraiser auction of the remaining entries of the Novembeerfest competition that some of our club members entered and won awards.

January is our annual Barleywine Meeting. February is our annual Homebrew Strangebrewary Meeting. March is our annual Homebrew Wood Fest and April is our annual Homebrew Cask Fest. May is Big Brew. June is the National Homebrew Conference in Portland, Oregon.

Q&A with Terry 11/16 Ballard Brew Crawl 11/18

The next WSB Q&A Session is on Thusrday November 16th with club president Terry from 6:30-8:30pm in the sideroom of Sound Brewery in Poulsbo. Come by earlier for dinner of order your before you attend the session.

The WSB will have a Ballard Brew Crawl on Saturday November 18th. Walk onto either the 11:10am Bremerton or 11:30am Bainbridge ferry and we will meet inside the Seattle ferry terminal at 12:15pm. We will then walk to 3rd and Columbia to take the RapidRide "D" bus to Market Street. Then walk to the new Obec Brewing on 52nd Street. Will also visit Stoup, Reuben's, Lucky Envelope, Populuxe, Maritime Pacific, Bad Jimmy's, Hales and Outlander. Pick and choose breweries as you wish. Lagunitas, NW Peaks and Peddler's are on the west side of 15th Avenue and the only way to cross is at Leary Way. Bring your WABL Passport. More info is in the Newsletter emailed out 11/10.

The December Meeting is Saturday December 9th from 2-6pm and is hosted by Bruce and Dee at their place in Hansville. We will be voting for new club officers.

October Open House Meeting

The WSB October Open House Meeting is Friday October 27th between the hours of 4 and 9pm and is hosted by Curt and Diane at their place in the Illahee area. The theme is fall/harvest/fresh hop brew - homebrew or commercial. If the weather is nice we will start outside on the back deck - dress in layers. Please bring a potluck dish to share. Saturday November 4th is "Learn to Homebrew" starting at 9am and is hosted by Jack at his place in the Illahee area. Jack will be brewing all day in his garage and will answer your questions on all grain and extract brewing. Bring your homebrews or commercial brews and a potluck dish to share. Dress warm.

The October Q&A Session is Thursday October 19th from 6:30-8:30pm at Olympic Brewing Supply in east Bremerton. Jon will be discussing the latest homebrew gadgets and ingredients. Bring your own snacks/dinner.

Jack will be hosting the all day Learn to Homebrew event on Saturday November 4th in the Brownsville area. We will most likely have another Seattle brew crawl later in November. The November Q&A Session is with Terry on Thursday November 16th and will be at Sound Brewery. The December Meeting is Saturday December 9th from 2-6pm and is hosted by Bruce and Dee in the Hansville area and we will be choosing new club officers for next year.

September Meeting

Please bring your homebrews, commercial brews and a potluck dish to share. Don't forget your taster glass. This is also your last chance to order your WSB 25th Anniversary shirts through Lou. The October Meeting is scheduled for Friday October 27th and is hosted by Curt and Diane and the theme will be Fall/Harvest/Pumpkin brews. Saturday November 4th Jack will be teaching Learn to Homebrew - an annual AHA event.

August "Garden of Eatin'" Meeting

The annual Garden of Eatin' meeting is Saturday August 26th from 1-9pm and is hosted by Oggie and Wendy in their front garden in the Erland's Point area. The theme is Refreshing Summer Beverages. Oggie will have brisket and a grill will be available. Bring your potluck dish, homebrews or commercial brews, a taster glass, bottled water and maybe a small deck chair. The September Meeting is Saturday September 23rd and will be hosted by Lou and the theme is Oktoberfest. This is also your last chance to order WSB tshirts or work shirts through Lou. The October Meeting is Friday October 27th and is hosted by Curt and Diane. There will be a "Learn to Homebrew" day on Saturday November 5th and will be hosted by Jack. December will be our club officer election. January is the annual Barleywine Meeting. February is the annual Strangebrewary Meeting. March is Wood Fest and April is Cask Fest.

July Meeting at Ryan's

The July WSB Meeting will be on Saturday July 8th from 3-8pm and is hosted by Ryan on the back decks overlooking the gardens at his place in Poulsbo. The theme is summer brews - homebrew or commercial. Ryan will be cooking up Alaskan salmon and maybe homemade sausages. Ryan is known for his fruit, sour and wild ales. Please bring brews, a potluck dish and don't forget your taster glass. You may also want to bring a small patio chair. More info is in the last Newsletter.

The annual Garden of Eatin' meeting is Saturday August 26th and is hosted by Wendy and Oggie at their place on Erland's Point. Brew theme is cider, wines, mead and fruit beers.

Lou will host the September Meeting on Saturday September 23rd. There will be a Q&A Session on Thursday October 19th at Olympic Brewing Supply with John. Diane and Curt host the October Meeting. On Saturday October 4th Jack will have a "Learn to Homebrew" session.
