The West Sound Brewers will soon be celebrating their 25th Anniversary

The West Sound Brewers were first established on May 2nd, 1992. Brewers and homebrewers got together and formed the club with Don Spencer, now Brewmaster of Silver City Brewery, as the first President. Don Wyatt, founder and brewer of Hood Canal Brewery, was also President and Treasurer. Other early club members went on to brew at Pyramid, Fish and Snoqualmie Falls breweries. Current club members brew at or founded Sound Brewery, Rainy Daze Brewing, Slaughter County Brewing and Silver City Brewery.
The WSB meet once or twice a month to share homebrews, whether it be beer, cider, mead, wine or liqueurs. In January we celebrate Barleywines, Strangebrewary is February, Wood Fest is March, Big Brew! is May, July is Beerstock, August is the Garden of Eatin', November is "Learn to Homebrew" and we also have Cask Fest, homebrew competitions and Seattle brewery crawls. Another addition to the club is Question and Answer Sessions with guest speakers or one of our seasoned homebrewers. We usually meet at one of the club member's home, community center or at a local brewery.
Olympic Brewing Supply in Bremerton has been serving Kitsap Peninsula homebrewers with all their brewing needs for beer, cider, mead, winemaking, soda making and liqueurs since 1994. The West Sound Brewers and Olympic Brewing Supply invite you to Learn to Homebrew and help celebrate the West Sound Brewers 25th Anniversary!
